Some of the prime public locations are:
-Craggy Gardens picnic area on the Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 364.4.
-Mount Pisgah on the Blue Ridge Parkway, milepost 407.0.
-Milepost 377.4 on the Blue Ridge Parkway that turns onto NC 694. Go to Town Mountain Road, which overlooks downtown Asheville.
