Do Cougars Still Live in the Appalacians?

June 13 2PM Asheville, the Folk Art Center Auditorium, Milepost 382 on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Sponsored by the Friends of the WNC Nature Center. A special natural history program sponsored by the Friends. Dr. Don Linzey, a renowned large mammal expert and professor of biology at Wytheville Community College, will speak on this fascinating topic and present a visual program. At 3:30 p.m., younger kids are invited and the Friends of the WNC Nature Center will serve up cougar snacks and hands on fun for children with some of the Nature Center's education animals.

This opportunity is offered free to Friends' members. For non-members, there will be a $5 suggested contribution at the door.
