Don't wait to get your tickets to hear this banjo afficianada and her band perform live, playing favorite classics along with selections from their brand new album, The Song of the Banjo.

Following the October 9th CD release, Alison Brown and her band are back at DWT for a night of reimagined bluegrass, jazz, and other genre-crossing tunes. While the album includes an impressive list of originals, Brown and her collaborators also put together covers of some popular tunes including Cyndi Lauper's "Time After Time" and Chuck Mangione's "Feel So Good," using Brown's plucking skills to add new depth to the hits.

With this new Compass Records project, the 2015 IBMA Distinguished Achievement Award and 2001 Grammy Award-winning musician/composer/producer/entrepreneur makes her mark once again as one of today's finest progressive banjo players.
