October 6, 5:30 - 7:30 PM DOUGH hosts the first signature event from Farmer and Chef South, a book signing and cooking demo with Author and Washington Post Food and Travel Editor Joe Yonan. Yonan will collaborate with DOUGH Chef/Owner Brian Ross, along with Scott Paquin of Firefly Farm, who will supply local and seasonal produce used in the recipes.
$35 per person includes the cooking demonstration and food samples
created using vegan and vegetarian recipes featured in "Eat Your
Vegetables". You will also have the chance to "meet and greet" with Chef
Yonan following the demo and purchase signed copies of his book. Wine
and beer by the bottle and glass will be available for purchase.
Partial
proceeds of the event will be gifted to Go Kitchen Ready, a food service training program that assists low-income individuals who face barriers to employment.
DOUGH is located at 372 Merrimon Avenue in Asheville NC.
