Asheville 48 Hour Film Progect

June 21 - 23   Asheville 48 Hour Film Project   300 Filmmakers from all over the Asheville Area will compete to determine who can make the best film in only 48 hours.  All completed films will be screened June 25,26 and 27 at Asheville Brewing Company, the 675 Merrimon Ave location.

City award winners will receive

• A Trophy
• Filmapalooza: The City Winner will be screened at Filmapalooza, the official 48HFP Awards Weekend.
• Movie Magic Screenwriter Software 6: The premier screenwriting software and the choice of Hollywood. ($250 value)

The winning film will qualify to compete  Internationally for a trophy and $5,000 grand prize. 10 of the best films of the 2013 Tour will be screened at the Cannes Film Festival's Short Film Corner in 2014.
