AKC Dog Agility Trial this Weekend in Asheville

January 16-19   American Kennel Club (AKC) Dog Agility Trial   The Blue Ridge Agility Club of Western North Carolina is hosting an American Kennel Club Dog (AKC) dog agility trial. Spectators are welcomed to attend and admission is free. Over 300 purebred dogs, from throughout the southeast, will compete at various levels of difficulty.

The event is held at the WNC Agricultural Center in the Ashevile NC suburb of Fletcher.

United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA) Agility Trial this Weekend in Asheville

December 14 - 15   The Blue Ridge Agility Club of Western North Carolina will host a United States Dog Agility Association (USDAA) agility trial. Spectators are welcomed to attend and admission is free. Over 150 purebred and mixed bred dogs, from throughout the southeast, will compete at various levels of difficulty. Spectators, please leave your dogs comfortably at home.

The event is held at he Western North Carolina Agriculture Center, on Fanning Bridge Road in Fletcher NC, a suburb of Asheville.

RiverLink Offers Free Children's Tickets to Piccadilly Circus: Blammo

RiverLink is offering free Children's General Admission tickets to the Piccadilly Circus: Blammo! in Fletcher, a suburb of Ashevillle.  The circus will feature the Cossack Warriors, comedic clowns, a free petting zoo and the My Little Pony Parade. The event will be held at the WNC Agriculture Center Arena on Thursday March 7, 2013.  Show times are 4:30 and 7:30 PM.  


Each ticket is good for free admission for children under the age of 13. The ticket will admit ONE child with purchase of an adult ticket. This is for Children's General Admission and is not a Children's VIP area ticket. 
Adult tickets may be purchased online. Use the code "CIRCUS" until 10:00 AM the morning of the show to receive 50% off the Adult General Admission ticket price.

Annual Antique Engine and Tractor Show Fall Harvest Days in Asheville

October 25-27  Fall Harvest Days 27th Annual Antique Engine and Tractor Show  Held at the Western North Carolina Agricultural Center. This is the largest show in Western NC and features crafters, demonstrations, farm tools, antique engines, antique tractor pulls and swap meet.

The Antique Engine and Tractor Show features antique tractors, hit n’ miss engines of all sizes,  tractor pulls and lots of vendors selling parts. Three full days of activities include crafters, sawmill and hit n’ miss engines. More than 250 vendors/exhibitors with tools, antiques, collectibles, toys and odd stuff.  There will be a Tractor Parade daily, weather permitting at 3:00 PM.

The event will be held rain or shine, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with Admission of $8/day, Children under 12 free with paid adult.
