Hopping Good Family Fun on the Parkway

September 12 from 1:00 PM-04:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Parkway Visitor Center, Blue Ridge Parkway Milepost 384, Asheville  NC bring the kids for an afternoon of Park fun. Read-a-Roo, UNC-TVs book-loving marsupial, will be on hand to greet children and their families. The afternoon will include story time at 1 pm; screening of the new Ken Burns' film "The National Parks: America's Best Idea" at 1:30, 2:30, and 3:30 pm; and short Ranger-led hikes at 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, and 3:00 pm.

Learn about the Parkway's Pisgah District, and afterward, show your expertise of Blue Ridge Parkway facts during a game of Parkway Trivia Challenge.
