Eliada's Corn Maze Opens this Week in Asheville NC

September 16 - October 31, 2015   Eliada's Annual Corn Maze   The maze will open September 5th and remain open each Thursday,  Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 27th. The maze will open from 4-8 on Thursdays and  Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM to 8 PM. 

New attraction for 2015 - Eliada's  Jumping Pillow. A giant jumping pillow for children and adults will become a permanent fixture in the field. $3 per person per turn (15 minutes per turn), $5 per person for a day pass (must get back in line after each 15 minute turn).

Also cut into the corn field are two Storybook Trails for children. These trails take you on a fun adventure as you read the stories of Spookley the Square Pumpkin and Ciderella and the Little Glass Sipper! Spookley and Ciderella merchandise are also for sale for children and families to continue to enjoy the stories and characters at home.  Additional activities are also offered.

Eliada's Annual Corn Maze Now Open for the Season in Asheville

September 6 - October 27 -   Eliada's Annual Corn Maze   The maze will open September 6th and remain open each Friday, Saturday and Sunday through October 27th. The maze will open from 4-8 on Fridays, 10-8 on Saturdays, and 11-7 on Sundays.

Eliada’s annual corn maze is a 12 acre maze with 2 unique trails cut out of a field of corn. Accompanying maps with check points help guide you through 4 miles of maze trails. Also cut into the corn field are two Storybook Trails for children. These trails take you on a fun adventure as you read the stories of Spookley the Square Pumpkin and Ciderella and the Little Glass Sipper! Spookley and Ciderella merchandise are also for sale for children and families to continue to enjoy the stories and characters at home.

This year, Eliada is partnering with the Asheville Grown Business Alliance to create a “Love Asheville Give Local” theme in the maze.  A giant heart, with this familiar slogan creates the maze trails and celebrates Eliada as a local charity in the region.  The Asheville Grown Business Alliance’s mission is to support independently owned businesses in the community.  “Local Independent Businesses cycle 3 times more money back in to the local economy and give greater support to a community’s non-profit and civic needs” (http://ashevillegrown.com/).

In addition to the corn maze, there are attractions like corn cannons with pumpkin men targets, a cow train, hayride, pumpkin patch, giant sandbox filled with corn kernels, haybale maze, spider-web net climb on, and giant slides.

Asheville Weekend Event: Eliada'a Corn Maze

Friday, Saturday and Sunday the "Fields of Fun" are open for kids of all ages. Eliada's Corn Maze offers a 12 acre maze cut out of a field of corn plus corn cannons, hay rides, the cow train, a giant sandbox filled with corn, giant tube slides, the storybook trail, and more

Admission to the maze is just $9 for adults 12 and over and $6 for children ages 4-11. Group admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children; a group is considered 20 or more. Groups must pay as a group. The Maze will be open weekends through October 28.

Eliada's Corn Maze opens for the season in Asheville

Eliada's annual corn maze is now open to the public. This year's maze features a motorcycle theme and includes expansive maze trails, a treasure hunt game hidden in the maze, and many additional activities and attractions. Eliada's annual corn maze is the largest in Western North Carolina and the only non-profit maze. This year, it was named one of the top 12 mazes in the country by Endless Vacation magazine.
 
This year's maze features 12 acres of trails and three levels of difficulty. Old favorites like the cow train, haybale maze and corn cannons will return, along with the kiddie corn maze, hay ride, pumpkin patch, and giant tube slides. The popular corn box, a giant sandbox filled with corn kernels and sandbox toys,  has been expanded. A giant spider web, which is a 20 x 20 climb-on that children are sure to love is a new experience this year. 

One area of Eliada's corn maze is the Spookley the Square Pumpkin Storybook Trail. Based on the popular children's book, Spookley the square pumpkin uses his unique shape to save the day.  Featured on the Disney Channel, the story teaches children to embrace diversity and has a powerful anti-bullying lesson.  Children learn the Spookley story as they walk the 3D Storybook Maze Trail and can have photos taken in a special storybook cutout or with a giant Spookley.  They can also join Spookley in taking a bullying prevention pledge. The Storybook Trail is perfect  for field trips and school groups.

The maze will be open each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday beginning from September 7 through October 28. Operating hours are 4-8 PM on Friday, 10-8 PM on Saturday, and 11 AM - 7 PM on Sunday. Ticket prices are $9 for people over 12 and $6 for children ages 4-11. Group admission is $7 for adults and $5 for children. A group is considered 20 or more individuals. 

Volunteer and Visit the Maze for Free!  If you're local and would like to volunteer, Eliada needs almost 400 volunteers to serve for 3 hour shifts and perform jobs like helping in the concession stand, assisting ticketing agents, acting as guides, and much more.
