August 22-24th Goombay Festival at the YMI Cultural Center

August 22-24 Goombay Festival Since 1982, the YMI Cultural Center has presented Goombay! This is a weekend-long street festival with two stages of music, a children's village, and over 60 food and craft vendors. The festival features both popular and traditional music, including African-American traditional gospel and a variety of other styles of African, Afro-Caribbean, and African-American music.
