Koresh Dance Company Performs at Asheville's Diana Wortham Theatre

January 22-23, 2016 at 8 PM at The Diana Wortham Theatre, 2 S Pack Place in downtown Asheville NC Koresh Dance Company and ev∙o∙lu∙tion.   Usher in the new year artfully with one of the nation’s top dance ensembles, a recipient of distinction from the National Endowment for the Arts, and a favorite of Diana Wortham Theatre audiences, Koresh Dance Company.

The Philadelphia-based company brings choreographer Ronen Koresh’s intense and intricately beautiful choreography to the DWT stage with ev∙o∙lu∙tion, a work that has received resounding praise from critics as a gritty and timeless piece that explores dance as an eternal language, predating spoken language: a visceral, universal form of physical expression.

In addition to ev∙o∙lu∙tion, Koresh presents a program of some of the company's favorite classical works, including Beethoven's Air on a String and Ravel’s Bolero. Don't wait to get your tickets to experience this phenomenal dance company.  BUY TICKETS NOW.   Patrons may attend both a pre-performance discussion at 7 PM and a post performance Q & A on both evenings.

In addition to the evening performances, the public is invited to take part in Koresh’s Asheville residency, which will include master classes, lectures, and more. Please check www.dwtheatre.com/koresh-residency for additional details as event locations and times are announced.
